Firms that follow up an online enquiry within an hour are nearly 7x as likely to qualify it as those that wait an hour longer. Harvard Business Review, 2011

Good enquiries go cold in busy inboxes.
Is the date free?
Every enquiry with a date in it waits until someone checks the calendar and writes back.
Your CRM stores the enquiry. Nothing chases it.
It gets one reply, then goes quiet. Unless someone remembers to follow up, it is gone.
The next step is unclear.
Messages, proposals and tasks sit apart. You need to see what needs you and what happens next.
Your AI functions coordinator.
Teach it your venue once. It replies in your voice, sends the low-risk answers, and brings you anything bigger. It never books or holds a date.
Hi Sophie! Yes, Saturday 14 March is open for your company dinner.
Answers "is the 14th free?" from your real calendar
The most common question in a venue enquiry. It checks open, held and booked dates and never holds one, or leaves dates to you if you prefer.
- Day 3Follow-up sent
- Day 6Scheduled
Follows up when an enquiry goes quiet
It follows up twice, three days apart, when nobody replies. A reply ends the sequence for good.
That is exactly what we need. Can we lock in Saturday 14 March?

When enabled, the agent follows up with clients who have not replied. A reply or handoff ends the scheduled sequence.
A new enquiry waiting too long, an escalated enquiry, one gone quiet. Ranked, with the next step.

Hi Sophie! Yes, the pavilion has a built-in sound system and two handheld mics for speeches, included in the venue hire.

I spent three years as an events manager at an Australian venue, then years in lead generation for private event venues across Australia, the US, and Canada, and I kept seeing the same problems. Coordinators drowning in admin, no real way to tell which enquiries needed attention, and good enquiries going cold before anyone got back to them.
I built Function Desk to help with the work that pulls coordinators away from their guests. It handles routine enquiries and follows up with clients who have not replied, then brings you in when an enquiry is ready to book or needs your judgement.
